I'm fine with them as long as they're not our primary bed. Do you have any concerns about air beds for say...a week or a couple of weeks?

I don't sleep well on them. So I'm not a fan for more than a couple of nights at most at a time.

Oh god they are so hard on my back. Thinking about staying on one for a week makes me want to run to a hotel

I don't sleep well in them. Luckily, I've never had to do more than one night in an air bed.

We had one of those full-height air beds in our guest bedroom for 2+ years. It was actually really comfortable! Could I do it long-term, no. But for a few weeks, sure.

I think it depends on the bed. I always HATED them...until I slept on one at the beach for a weekend. It must have been a much nicer bed, but it was SO much more comfortable. I could sleep in that one alone for a week.
But DH is twice my size, so I can't share them with him. Whenever he moves I nearly bounce off.

@MaryM: DH and I have that problem too. He is enough bigger than me that I end up sleeping on an incline and just rolling into him in the middle of the bed all night! Not the most comfortable set up.

Hate them - DH is a wiggler, so I feel every move he makes while sleeping. A couple nights is fine, but no more than that!

It totally depends on the situation but if the air mattress was properly inflated etc I wouldn't care. I mean, is it my choice of bed? No, but I would do it!

I wouldn't. I start getting back pain after a few days. A few weeks? No way.
