I wouldn't do 2 middle names, but I think it's fine!

I have two middle names. Never seemed weird to me! The only thing that annoys me sometimes (and it is a small annoyance) is on some forms they only have space for one middle initial.

We all have two middle names. That way both families are represented.

As a name nerd, I'd love to give my kids that many names, but our last name is four syllables and ten letters, so I think I'll rein it in.

We did two middles - my DH having a boy was the only chance to carry on the family name so we decided to honor both DH's grandfathers. Our next will have a name from my side whether boy or girl. So to answer your question, no I don't think you're crazy!

Edit: what I wouldn't do is call my child by their middle. My Mom did that to me and it makes everything super confusing!

My son has two middle names... however I kind of wish we had stuck with just one my little brother has two middle names.

I think it's cute and it can work! I think it can just be a little confusing legally. I never know whether to put both middle names on documents (like medical records) or just the first one.

I don't like 2 middles, but do think whatever floats your boat! Lol. I don't even like 1 middle unless there is some meaning. My bro picked a random name for 1st nephew. Korean name for 2nd. I like 2nd better cuz there's some meaning.

@photojane: i am biased but i like it! Our LO has two middle names--a first-name type name after my grandmother, then my last name(i kept my name when i got married). We primarily use the first middle but she officially has the two on her birth certificate so it is her legal name.

I have 2 middle names. I'm proud to have them, but it is annoying that it's so confusing for people and a lot of the time you can only use one middle name on forms. If you want to do it, it's your call. I'm the one who stuck myself with the extra middle name and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

DH has two middle names (one for each grandfather). In an interesting twist of fate, his two middle names were my top 2 boy name picks long before DH and I met. So our son has DH's two middle names as his first and middle name.

I like it! We are giving DD a double name (two first names) so it is sort of a similar concept.

I've been debating doing this! We are planning on giving LO my maiden name as her middle name, but I've started to have all these other names pop up that I want to give her.

I just have no idea of the legal aspects of it, I remember reading somewhere that in Texas you couldn't give your LO 2 middle names anymore, but now I can't find whether it's ok either way! Soo if anyone wants to chip in on that
