DH and I are both on our first cars. Solely because we cannot make a freakin decision. We have two sedans a 2000 with 180k and a 2003 with 230k. Both are on their last legs. Repair times are cutting into work time. We've agreed we want a minivan and a fuel efficient commuter. I just cannot get him to move on it. We have been shopping for 8 months and there is always an excuse not to buy.

I'm sitting at home waiting to get the battery replaced on one of the cars now. I know batteries aren't the end of the world but every other week it is something. Everyone at work is telling me to go out and buy two cars on my own. DH cannot fathom buying two cars at once. Fortunately, money is not the issue. We're both slow decision makers and he is slower.

I am the girl that used an ultimatum to get the proposal after 10 years. Now in frustration I've said I'm buying two cars by the end of the year with or without him.

But I want to buy with him. Buying a car on my own is wrong, isn't it???? We need it. How do I get him to make a move?
