Are there any tried and true fixes for this? I haven't had a clean shower door since we moved in, it feels like!!

Vinegar!

1 cup vinegar (warmed in microwave for a minute)
1 cup dawn soap(Or equal parts)
Spray on soap scum, I usually do it after someone showers to "losen" the grime, and let sit for a few minutes and then use the magic eraser. It comes off like butter.

We renovated! Best decision ever! We have hard well water so it was alway getting these white crystals on it. Now we have a nice curtain that I can wash...or throw out and buy a new one!
Seriously though, I found CLR worked ok.

Vinegar & Bar Keepers Friend...heard the Bar Keepers Friend suggestion on a tv show one day & was shocked at how well it works.

This is why i want to get rid of our glass shower door! I used a mix of vinegar-baking soda-rubbing alcohol-lemon but it still needed a bit of elbow grease. I may try the dawn+vinegar solution.

@emg86: Yes! Bar Keepers Friend is amazing!!! Just apply to a damp sponge and scrub the doors - they will be soooo clean!!

@Freckles: I have no idea. But I swear by it 100x's over any other product. I Also think it work de better when you want the vineger and use the magic eraser. It's a great trio!!!
