@MrsBrewer: I'm right there with you!!! I keep telling myself if we got pregnant now it would not be a good time (due to the way my work vacation is) but hte urge is so strong. *just make it to spring* is what I keep telling myself, even though ideally I would hold off until summer because I want a spring baby! So hard when my two BFFs are both due in a few months! Hopefully I will get my baby fix with their boys!

@LuLu Mom: Same here!! I mean I go pregnant now, it wouldn't be the end of the world....but due to finances we would REALLY like to wait probably another 6 months to a year (or at least until DH gets a better job)
But we've been together 6 years, married for 2, to me it just feels like time!

I look at my super demanding 11 month old and remind myself I'm not ready to handle two!

I look at the scale and want to be down another 16 lbs before conceiving again. I don't want to be at my current weight for starting another pregnancy. WW is my baby fever deterrent. Toddler tantrums are another one.

@MamaMoose: That one doesn't work for me!!! lol! I would love ot have an 11 month old running around!! LOL

@cascademom: I can easily use that one! I definitely want to lose weight before TTC. Maybe I can really start focusing on that for a while once I hit my goal

@MrsBrewer: It's been helpful to me. Before we conceived LO, I was healthier, but not at a great weight. Now, I want to lose more before conceiving to be better on my body than before.

@cascademom: I don't know why, but I've always had such a hard time losing weight! But I really do think it would be best to get to the healthiest possible weight before putting my body through pregnancy! I'm sure running after a toddler all day helps though!

@MrsBrewer: I run after mine on weeknights and weekends as a working mom, but it helps. It definitely helped me get my weight down along with WW. Pregnancy and pp is tough. I want my body to be better prepared for it the next time. If it means a little more spacing in ages between LO and a sibling. I'm okay with that.

@MamaMoose: This week, I took care of a sick LO and an uber-sick SO while I myself had the 24-hour version of whatever nasty bug DH has/had. I have no earthly idea how I would have managed to survive if I had (1) been pregnant, or (2) had another LO to take care of! : /

We gave ourselves goals ... We both had baby fever, but we knew we just weren't totally ready. So, we made a list of things to accomplish: Go on a nice vacation, save $10K, start a running routine, get into a home (we were in an apartment), etc. Once we accomplished our goals, we were able to reevaluate, and decided it was indeed time!! Plus, the goals were even more fun to do, because I knew I had an awesome 'prize' at the end.
So that's my advice. Set a few obtainable goals or timelines, and work hard to get there.

@MsLipGloss: Poor thing!! Having BabyGloss start up in day care is probably going to mean some yucky sickness for all of you but she should build up her immune system pretty quickly!!

@Vegmama: You know what's hilarious......I have the exact same goals!!! We're going on a nice vacation in May, we are almost up to 10k in our savings, I'm just starting to get into running, and we bought a house last year!!!!
Too funny that we are so similar!

I wasn't able to ignore it, but after this one, if it comes up again, I will definitely remind myself how much fun being pregnant is NOT.

I think about how much sleep I can get since I don't have kids yet!
I also remind myself how much more we'll be able to provide our children if we wait until DH is finished with his master's degree and working FT again.
Before we start TTC we want to take a trip or two (going to Costa Rica in January!) and I want to run another marathon, too. Maybe buy a house but that's not a deal-breaker since we don't know where DH's job will take us.

Well, first I look at my bank account...then I look at the scale....
And that usually does it
On days it doesn't, I just look at my goober and think of how much one on one time I want to be able to give her
