I hate losing parts to toys. Haha I don't know why it bothers me so much.
T got a tractor toy with animals that can be taken on/off of it for an early Christmas present two days ago and we've already lost the cow.
How do you keep sets together?

We are cycling her toys, so she only has a few available at a time. It makes it much easier to keep pieces together, and each toy gets more play time/attention. Makes end of day cleanup a breeze, too!

I use the smaller shoe size storage boxes, we have Mr. Potato head in one, for example!

Same as @Bao, either a shoe box sized storage bin or a gallon ziploc bag

I would loveeeee to know. Also we live in a condo, so I don't have the space for all kinds of storage solutions. Like, if I put things in bins, I have nowhere to put the dang bins.

@Anagram: Same. Our house is pretty small. Once we conceive #2, our junk room becomes a nursery and we REALLY have no extra storage at that point!
Our living room is the playroom. We already have gotten rid of a recliner to make more space. Haha!

Ugh I was going to ask this same question. Everything seems to have parts that all get separated!

I stopped rotating in toys with small pieces. They never got played with and they just make a giant mess. For the unavoidable pieces I have a few wicker baskets and all the random parts get tossed in there. I try to have separate containers for things like duplos or his little people.

I have a load of shoe box sized plastic boxes and keep them on shelves in E's room. I try to only get out one set at a time.

I use mesh laundry/lingerie bags. They take less space than the shoe boxes, and I don't have to worry about baby sister playing with a plastic bag. I toss all the bags into drawers in an Expedit bookcase.

Ziplock bags and tons of small plastic bins!! I get unreasonably upset when pieces get lost. Don't even get me started on lost Shopkins

We keep sets together in clear shoebox sized bins. I only get stuff like that out when he is actually playing with it, and put it away at the end of the day.
