clean? and free from eyeliner, etc from looking like a raccoooon!
I use a pencil liner and undereye concealer... and it almost always smudges at some pt in the day.
I've tried all sorts of different liners and still haven't found a smudge free one.
Maybe it's just the shape of my eyes.
Any recs?

I'd like to know too! Anytime I put liner of any form, even the tiniest bit of shadow, on my eyelids, I'm looking like I went out clubbing by noon.

I always put a bit of powder on my eyelids before applying eyeliner. It usually works.

I use a concealer brush to apply a bit of eyeshadow primer just under my lower lashes under the concealer.

ETA -on the top lid too, before I put anything else on.

@stine_ciro: ooh -- I have eyeshadow primer but have never used it since I never wear eyeshadow (it was a gift). So this is a great potential use!!! I guess I can use it under eyeliner too?

I use Smashbox primer, I pat a little bit on my undereye area then layer concealer over it.

@mamimami: it works for me, just needed a tiny little brush because I don't use much.

I think if you have oily skin this is pretty common. What helps me most is using foundation and powder all over my face (if I just try to use a tinted moisturizer and eye liner it is raccoon city. And then putting a base layer of eyeshadow (I use a very neutral color almost the same color as my skin) and putting my eyeliner over that and then "setting it" with a neutral shade of eyeshadow (I use a neutral brownish color)

I set my face with makeup forever powder. I use my index finger to dab some under my eye-- it prevents my mascara and eye liner from smudging.

I use a gel liner and that somehow solved my problem! Pencil & liquid always end up smudging.
