My version of a Bloody Mary isn't a Bloody Mary at all . . . it looks a lot more like a club drink (SF Red Bull and Vodka!).

Lately a lot of places in my town have been making them with bacon or pickle flavored vodka - which I've been loving! I don't like mine with olives. And I like mine to have a little kick, but not completely over powered with spices.

@matador84: You just made my mouth water . . . ! I used to make myself cocktails all.the.time but DH would give me such a hard time about my *club* drink! Now I almost exclusively drink wine (and champagne).

No horseradish and with celery and cucumber. I like it with the Peppar vodka from Absolut if I am feeling frisky.

@MsLipGloss: ughhhhh we had a cookout this weekend and I wanted a beer so bad! ooooh, only like 30 more weeks! i love club drinks, since I haven't been to a club in like 8 years, the least i can have is a drink!
I craved a bloody mary after my last pregnancy and didn't get the chance to have one, and now guess what I want?! looks like it's gonna be a while!

Love mine with Pepper Vodka! It needs a real kick to it, but not too much horseradish. mmm hot sauce. Must be garnished with lemon (that I squeeze in), otherwise I like little cornichons, olives, bacon, dilly beans, etc.

I like mine Canadian (a Caesar - Clamato juice instead of tomato). There's a place in town that makes a bacon Caesar - they rim the glass with seasoned salt and bacon bits, and put a big stick of candied bacon alongside it.
Also delicious with spicy pickled green beans. -

Spicy! There's one restaurant where I've had them w/ pepper vodka. Yum! I'm also a fan of garnishes -- celery, blue cheese olives, pickles, whatevs...
