I crack it over butter, then flip. I think it's called a fried egg that's my fave. I leave the yolk runny

I like mine fried, over hard (cooked all the way through). I've been dairy free for three weeks and a fried egg sandwich with lots of cracked pepper is a staple in my diet!

Over easy. Sometimes scrambled, but only if me or MIL makes them. I also love omelets.

@Coco Bee: That's over easy (over because you flip it, and easy because it's runny)
I like poached but I am terrible at doing it myself. At home I do scrambled and .... omletted (haha). I like soft boiled but haven't had one in years!

@pastemoo: what's a fried egg? when the yolk is hard, but same method? I do that sometimes too

I also like my eggs fried, over hard. I actually like it flash fried where it's crispy on the sides with all sorts of seasonings, like red chili flakes, paprika, ginger, onion, and garlic powder.
Another favorite is my grandma's scrambled eggs. It's not runny at all and like an crepe, just seasoned with salt. She flash fries it in a wok so it has wok flavors. Mmmm!

over medium. is that an option? the yolk isn't runny or hard, but more gel-like
pomelo / 5321 posts
fried, over medium. I like for the yolk to be closer to easy though.
@softcream: me too! it's so yummy!

scrambled or fried! Both. I think fried is more over medium....I like all the white cooked. I simply canNOT eat runny whites without thinking about getting sick. Something about the texture....eek, no. Oh i also like mine hard boiled. Farm fresh eggs are the best this way....the orangier the yolk, the better

Fried over hard (or medium with lots of hollandaise when not preg) preferably on buttered toast with salt and pepper. I'm not a huge egg person. I never eat scrambled or omelets. I will eat hard boiled eggs more for the convenience of a quick protein!

Pre-preg, poached for sure. With challah underneath to soak up all the runny yolky goodness! Now, generally scrambled (with cheese melted in there, of course), or challah french toast. Who can tell that I grew up with Friday night challah and leftovers with eggs the next morning?!

@Coco Bee: a fried egg can be over easy, over medium, over hard (if it gets flipped), or sunny side up if you don't flip it.... all of those are fried.
@anonysquire: over easy or sunny side up.
I like making fried eggs--especially at family events when they are all different.
@JessiBee: YES Challah (or hash--or challah french toast!) with poached eggs. Yum!

They have to be scrambled and well done. I don't like any part of my eggs runny. And I prefer them cooked in bacon grease.

Over easy! Preferably with a side of bacon, toast and home fries I also love scrambled, omlettes and hard boiled...Pretty much a huge fan of the incredible, edible egg!

Mmmm. Eggs! I like them scrambled, with or without cheese, or sunny side up, or over easy. Pretty much anything where I'm not eating plain cooked yolk, I don't like that! I loooooove to dip toast or bacon in runny egg yolks, so good!

@pastemoo: thanks, now I will know how to order next time I'm at ihop!

@pastemoo: same. I'm so hungry!
Actually my fav way to have eggs is to cut a circle out of the middle of bread, put it in a pan, crack an egg in the middle and cook til the bread is toasty and the egg is fried. We have a super creative name for it, "eggs in toast". I am craving that!

@mrs. bird: ooooooh with cheese, I also like cheese! Oh do I love cheese!
