DD has a lot of shoes and for now they're all just thrown onto her closet floor. I'm thinking of getting an over-the-door shoe holder to put them in. The only downfall is that she wouldn't be able to reach all of them. Maybe there's a better way? How do you organize your LO's shoes?

Since we don't wear shoes in the house, we have an ikea shoe bench/rack in the entrance of our apartment. The shoes go on that shelf. But they only have season appropriate shoes on the shelf, so two pairs each.

When LO was young, she would throw them all in a chair with hidden storage. Now she just lines them all up. That's her chore. It is still unsightly.
I have a shoe problem (with her) so at least they are cute shoes!

I limit her shoes to just two pairs at a time so they go in the hall cupboard.

We have a shoe closet in the mudroom.

jackets, backpacks and boots go in their locker. Shoes go in the drawer below!

We use a basket, but LO never has more than 3 or 4 pairs.
