I know there is no personal messaging for non-Gold members, or is there? Actually it's a blogger, so how do I go about doing that? Thanks.

Otherwise I set up an anonymous email and asked them to email me at that address

You can just write on their wall which is under their profile.

You can write a post on their wall with your email or if it's a blogger, you can wall post asking for their e-mail with they can private message you
