@Ash: seriously, it tastes so much better!! I read an article once that it is because they have uber filtration systems, keep the water really cold, and go through so much volume that the syrup doesn't go stale.

I'm a soda snob. I prefer fountain Dr. Pepper with lots of bubbles- but certain places have syrupy Dr. Pepper so I get coke there instead. Like Sonic, McDonald's, Raising Cane's, Popeye's... I'm a weirdo. After that I would go can, then bottle. But I would never get Mr. Pibb. And I'll go to certain places just because they have good soda!

I'm with @chopsuey's order - and I like my can over ice as well. Soda is such a rare treat, when I get fountain soda I tend to binge!

I was going to say cold with lots of ice. But really from a glass bottle or can and only the sugar (ie Mexican) version.
