@sunny: I ask myself how much I'd be willing to pay for it. Usually I sell very good condition items for 1/2-1/3 of the retail price :T

Low as hell, i just want it sold. If i make some money, thats just icing.

@DillonLion: +1, we sold a couch set for 20 dollars because it was more like they were giving us money to haul away stuff we didn't need.

@hellocupcake: we did a garage sale last year and made over 200 bucks...and nothing was priced over $1 !!! I was so pumped lol.

I usually sell it for at least 50% off what I bought it for... then even lower depending on the condition. I also consider how much I'd buy it for if I were them.

I usually search craigslist or similar places to see how much things are going for. That gives me an idea of what is reasonable.
