Our Lo JUST started saying please. She wouldn't say it for the life of her before 19 months.
Now when she says peeese! We can't say no. It's too cute. Her eyes become little moons and she smiles when she says it.
Kill me.
How do you say no!?

My LO doesn't talk yet but I have learned that I'm way stricter than I thought I would be. Grandma on the other hand.....

@Andrea: so far it's just food items and YouTube videos. Oh. and getting spun in p's office chair. hahaha -.- I do eventually say all done! Or no more! Thankfully she only says please when she first asks for it.

hehe. Just wait until they start whining it. And please becomes part of the whiny demand. "Oh-oh-open i-i-itttt, PEEEEEESE!!!!!!" I miss the days when WJ was kind about it!!! Now if he asks something and says please without whining, I pretty much immediately jump to respond!!!

I know that my husband will just melt. I might have to show some restraint...But it'll be hard!

He's been signing Please for months now. But, we still say no even though it's cute. We have a rule about food and breastfeeding where we don't ever say no so most of the time it isn't a struggle.

I am immune. Maybe it's because I have four. Both grandmas can't resist though and the kids know how to work it.

Awww. the "pleeeeease" plus the moon eyes would kill me too!!
So early on, my hubs and I both taught him "last time" and "last one" so we'll let him do something once/twice and then we'll say "Ok....last time!" and then he doesn't ask again. And we're super strict about that cause we don't want him to think that he can get another one out of us by whining/saying please. It's hard though! Especially when they're really cute about it.
