Our daycare assigns cubbies and colors to each child in the infant room. You have one cubbie for extra clothes, blankets, jackets, hats, etc. and another cubbie over the changing area where they have diapers, wipes, and creams. Each cubbie is labled with a name and color and everything baby brings in is labeled with name, color, and date if it is food related (purees, bottles, etc.). For cloth diapers we brought in 8 diapers to start and one wetbag. We put the diapers and wipes in his cubbie and folded the wetbag next to them. They put dirty diapers in the wetbag throughout the day. When I picked up I would grab his empty bottles and wetbag, do a quick count of diapers remaining in his cubbie (though I could also just count what is in his wetbag if I ever forgot) and just packed what I needed to replenish the next morning. Sometimes he'd only go through 6 diapers a day, sometimes all 8. They would just let us know if they were running low on wipes or creams and I'd bring that in as needed.

Like PPs, we bring in one wetbag and a set of clean diapers every day. We put the clean diapers in the spot assigned for LO's diapers, where the other kids have their disposables. Then at our daycare they have us put the wetbag with the soiled clothes bin in a cabinet. We try to keep about 7 there at all times and either check how many are there at the end of the day or count how many came home to keep stocked.

To carry everything, we use a large cloth grocery bag. So when we had an infant, we put the diapers, wetbag, bottles, snacks, utensils, etc. all in that bag to carry. The infant room let us keep this bag in her cubby so if I dropped off and DH picked up, then we were fine.

@ellybecks: I have a 31 bag that I am setting up. Outer pockets will have bottles. Inside: stack of clean diapers and empty wetbag for dirty diapers. Also inside: other things they ask for: bib, bunting, blanket, extra outfit.

@pelikila: Good to know! I never thought about leaving extras there. Seems obvious now that you say it. I do need to remember to take them all home on Fridays.
