I procrastinated on family photo outfits and am in a rush to find something. I found a flannel button up for LO that I love from Gap but haven't ever gotten anything from them and am not sure how the sizes run. LO swims in 12 month stuff and is almost getting too big for 9 months but that's what I would ideally order for him. This shirt is sized 6-12 months, which is a huge range. I don't have time to order this and then find something else if it's too big..
Any advice? Pics are this Sunday!

When R was in 9m Carters, she wore 6-12 at the Gap. Then 12m Carters, she needed 12-18 at Gap.

What brand does he swim in in 12 months? I find BG comparable to Carter's, so pretty true to size. I'd order 6-12 months.

I would get it! My LO wore a too big button down for pics at nine months and I just pinned it a little in the back when necessary. Or he could wear it open with a graphic tee underneath. Gap has always been true-to-size for us, but he is 25th percentile for weight.

I think that sounds like the right size- if anything, I think they run slightly small, but I usually just buy knit stuff for DD, no experience with anything tailored. You could probably just roll/cuff the sleeves if needed?

Here's Zu in 6-12 month gap sweat suit. Not really swimming. She's 6 months and 10th percentile for weight.

I think our kids are similar in size. DS2 still fits into 6-12 month clothes from the Gap. 12-18 month is still a little big and requires folding his sleeves.

i think 6-12 would fit him perfectly. in general i've found gap stuff to run true to size, but their pants from 24 months up tend to run a little bit long.

6-12 should fit perfectly!! I agree with what @mrs. bee said on Gap sizing. M wears a LOT of Gap.
