Mine sucks!
Moldy strawberries, bruised eggplant, an apple with a worm hole.
I think he just tosses stuff in the cart all willy nilly.
How's your hubby at picking produce?

HAHA he's actually really good! The produce is almost always fresh where we shop though!

He's great at produce...but when he does the shopping, at least one frozen pizza gets in the cart. Always.

He always picks the bruised apples. And somehow fails to buy organic. Hence, why we shop together. He's an awesome cook, though!

Excellent! The problem is that our produce is right next to the baked goods, so he always comes home with random pies and such.

He's great! He could do all the grocery shopping if I needed him to.

He's ok, but I always get at least one call with questions. ie, What does thyme look like?

He called once asking me "what does broccoli look like" - he had no idea what it actually looked like, not cooked in florets. So, pretty bad.

I don't know! I usually go grocery shopping alone.

Sooo picky! He will spend 20 minutes choosing the five best tomatoes. Guess I shouldn't complain, but still!

I don't think my husband has stepped foot into a grocery store in years.

not trying to brag, but my DH is a better househusband (though he works full time) than i could be a housewife. He picks good food, then prepares it so its ready to pop in my mouth. He actually makes me lazy, haha.

Not too bad, but I have to be really specific otherwise he comes home with iceberg lettuce, despite the the fact that I've never made a salad with an iceberg lettuce the entire time we've lived together.

@chibee: hilarious! I had a check out lady ask me what is this...uh broccoli. She was at least 55. Your husbands mom perhaps?!

He's not that good, but he's gotten better. When he buys certain items, i'm like, "if it looks like crap, please don't buy it!" He feels like he has to get everything on my list.

He goes above and beyond trying to buy me convenience foods in the produce section. Like, if I put onions or celery on the list he'll buy the pre chopped kind. Which is thoughtful, but more expensive!

He does great! Better than me. I usually defer to him whether something looks good or not.

He does great! He has done a lot of the shopping lately due to scheduling but I have no complaints!

He's okay. But I am suuuuuuper picky so he trys to live up to my standards lol

He rarely enters a grocery store and if he does he either buys milk, meat, or beer. Sigh.
