I'm not a big crier, so when I do cry, DH goes crazy. He can't handle my tears.

DH is super cute and comes to console me. I get hugs and back rubs.

He acts like a scolded puppy until I tell him it wasn't him. Then he goes about as usual, unless it's something big (like my grandpa going into hospice, or my best friend's heart giving out), in which case he'll hug me, pat me sympathetically, and back away slowly.

Hubs hates it when I cry but I cry often (crying is my release for anger, sadness, frustration, etc.) I get back rubs and kleenex - hubs doesn't ask questions because he knows that I talk when I'm ready to talk.

He usually tries to make a joke to make me laugh, and if that doesn't work he'll hold me and rub my back until I stop.
