Ha! My DH wakes up 3 or 4 hours after me. If he ever woke me up, I'd probably panic and think something was wrong!

He leans in, starts to kiss my neck, and then growls into it. I'm really ticklish so I wake up giggling.

Hmmmm I think I'd have to sleep later than him for that to happen..... lol
cantaloupe / 6171 posts
he rarely wakes me up but when he does, he usually just calls my name softly
wonderful pea / 17279 posts
Edit Edit: He will call my phone or c crash in bed and start talking.

He doesn't wake me up. He usually leaves the house around 7 and I'm still sleeping - I never hear him leave!

The alarm is on his side and I usually sleep through it... So he usually grabs my boobs to wake me up classy haha!

We get up at the same time. But I'm the morning person so I'm usually poking him to wake him up lol

I don't think this has ever happened to us either. I'm always up first !

On weekends I'm always up before him. But if he needs to wake me before he goes to work, he'll gently rub my arm. I do the same to him.

He rubs my back and gives me a kiss on the cheek. I hate being woken up so he does it as nicely as possible.

I honestly can't think of a time when he has lol. I always wake him up. Lately I just put Elliot on top of his chest and E will play with his face and babble at him.

His snoring will wake me up, but that's not what you're referring to is it? He will usually just pat my arm lightly.

Since LO, he will wake me up by standing over me, and touching my arm. It only when R and I have fallen back asleep and he is on his way to work. Gives us kisses and says have a good day. Now that I am going back on Monday and he is traveling again, I doubt he will wake me up again.

Usually by throwing C on top of me in bed.
In his defense, thats usually now I wake him up,too.

@zippylef: bwahaha. I do that all the time to DH.
He'll usually call my name.

@Freckles: Can your husband teach mine how to do that? If DH is working late and he comes home to find me sleeping, he'll wake me up to tell me about his day. Um, it's midnight, WhyTF are you waking me up??? He has a death wish, I'm sure of it.

Heh, if DH is waking me up, I'm either sick in bed or because I'm currently in my 3rd tri. I always get up before he does, both for work and just because I'm a morning person. He'll wake me up with a kiss, though.

By coming to bed around 1am! haha. He works a PM schedule so he is in bed after midnight. I get up around 7:30 and he gets up around 10am. We used to get up around the same time in a past life haha, but I don't remember how we'd get the other up!

MY DH rarely wakes me up as M-Sat I am up and out the door before he wakes up. I usually kiss him goodbye when I leave then he rolls over and goes back to sleep. On Sunday, he will sometimes wake me up with a cup of coffee in hand (he knows me well) and a 5 minute warning of dogs being allowed to enter the bedroom (who have been been patiently waiting outside the door all morning. OR he will text me from downstairs- I am hungry. Are you getting up soon?
wonderful olive / 19353 posts
If we're in a hurry, he'll pat me, say my name, and tell me to wake up. If we're not in a hurry, he'll roll over to cuddle with me, give me a kiss, and say good morning.
honeydew / 7091 posts
He rarely has to wake me up, because I get up before him in the mornings to pump. But, on occassion when he does, he's not very gentle about it, that's for sure. It involves turning the lights on, jumping on the bed, talking LOUDLY... >:-(

He pats me on the leg (if he's standing up) or arm (if we're laying down) and says, "Baby?" But if we're both asleep, I will almost always be the first one to wake up and have to wake him up! He usually only wakes me up if I've fallen asleep while putting LO down and dinner is ready
coconut / 8472 posts
On the weekends he comes over and snuggles with me. During the week if I don't wake up when he comes in to drop off the dog and say good bye, he kisses me.
pineapple / 12802 posts
@FutureMrsMcK: haha that is so cute.
He snuggles with me. But also he's generally just really loud. He coughs and clears his throat or blows his nose. He's so sweet to put his headphones in to listen to music.... and then sing out loud....
That is him trying to "let me sleep".

Under penalty of death, he knows not to wake me. If C wakes him and not me, he changes his diaper and brings him to bed to nurse, I don't even really have to wake up! It is so rare that I'm still asleep that he's really careful not to wake me since I'm usually on night duty.

When he was with LO so I could get some sleep, he would come in and rub my leg. Otherwise, he has never had to wake me up. I am ALWAYS up before him.
pomegranate / 3414 posts
He rarely wakes up before me since he doesn't hear the alarm (or so he says). If he is waking me up from a nap it usually consists of him yelling at me to get up. He has also encouraged our 130# dog to jump up into bed with me (or lick my face), tossed one of our children on me (especially if DS is crying) and jumped on me himself. I however, usually just poke him in the arm lightly and say his name.
