I was just talking about this with a friend... if I'm pretending to sleep, Olive will walk over to me and say, "wake up, sleepyhead!" while she slaps me across the face!
Pretty sure she got "sleepyhead" from daycare... not sure where she got the slap across the face though!

He doesn't anymore thank goodness. If he wakes before me and its not a school day he goes and plays on the computer.
When he was little he would yell from his room.

DS is 6 months and he cries when he wakes up until I go get him.

DS usually ditches his blankie over the side of his crib and yells "Uh Oh, Uh Ohhhhhh" until we go get him haha.

16 months old and when she wakes up she talks to herself, then she steadily gets louder and starts crying when she's had enough and wants out.

usually by singing to herself (and I hear it through the monitor) or whining. Whenever I turn on the light in her room, she shakes her head until I dim it (best thing even ever in a nursery is a light dimmer to light switch) and snuggles with a smile and says "hi momma, hi puppy" Favorite part of the day!
