My newborn has lots of hair but it is still too short for bows with alligator clips. I bought some elastic headbands today and I'm not sure how they should be worn.
Does your LO wear these bands across their forehead or higher up?

Yep! Her hair, which she is losing, isnt thick enough for a bow..

Yeah, I put them on higher up as well. She doesn't wear them that often though, but I'll put them on for special occasions. She can just now get one of the no-slip clips to stay in her hair at 5 months.

We wear ours the same as baby Smurfette! Pretty much just behind the hairline I guess.

I go back and forth on this. If I put it on higher up her hair fans out behind it and looks crazy, but if I put it lower and tuck her hair under it flapper-like, it inevitably slides down and I have to carefully put it back to avoid crazy hair.

Same place where I'd wear mine - slightly behind her hairline.

I was putting them across the forehead but it looked funny. Now I do the same, up higher behind her hairline!
