LO's birthday isn't until the end of July and it's driving me crazy not to be able to plan the party yet! I want the theme to be something that she loves.... but the problem is she changes her mind monthly.
I love to DIY and look for sales so I want to start planning as far in advance as possible. I'm currently pinning different ideas, but I have a feeling it's a big waste of time

@Mrsbells: But how do I pick a theme? I feel like for LO's 2nd she's old enough to have a theme that she loves. A month ago I would have said Itsy Bitsy Spider because her eyes lit up, she got a huge grin, and she would do the hand motions when she heard the song. Now she could care less.

@autumnlove: For her first birthday I could plan early because I got to pick the theme, I knew she wouldn't get a say in that one. Good thing..... I made 97 tissue paper flowers. I needed lots of time! I go a little overboard with parties 
@Mrsbells: She doesn't love any colors yet. I'm currently pinning ball parties because she loves balls and especially saying the word ball. She love love loves the book sunrise sunset, but I can't figure out how to make that into a party theme.

I'm deciding between a garden tea party theme and pink lemonade theme. The colors will be similar, so I can go ahead and start getting some things on sale.

@Weagle: My LO's first was a rose garden theme. I got a lot of good things from after valentine's day and after Easter sales. Sounds like those could work for you too!
