Our pediatrician used to be two blocks away and our hospital was something like 15 blocks! One time, my son got a bad cut on his leg that I thought might need stitches... so I put him in the stroller, elevated it so that his leg was a bit higher and ran all the way there with him in the stroller!!

Now we live overseas and don't have a pediatrician - we plan to visit the US later this year for a wellness visit. And the nearest hospital is an hour away! I worry a lot about the hospital being so far away, but there's a clinic close by that could at least help a little bit.
