So yeah, I have baby fever and I would love to hear how becoming a parent has changed you?
Maybe I'm just a sappy person who loves reading a good inspirational story.

I never see movies until they hit basic cable... oh wait, that's probably not a good inspirational story!!
I'd have to say the biggest change is that when I wake up, the first thing I think about every day is somebody else's happiness. It makes me feel like a better person!

I think even though being a parent is extremely hard, it is very rewarding and just coming home to see your child smile wipes away any crappyness you've had during your day. It's an amazing feeling. I wouldn't change it for the world.

i never liked kids that much before having charlie. now that i understand all the different stages/milestones, i can see how children other than my own are charming/cute/funny. so i guess you could say having kids has made me like kids more in general!

i just thought of something else to add. once you have kids and see how much love/attention you lavish on them every day, you start feeling so bad for children without parents. it's just heartbreaking to think about all the kids starving/in foster care/growing up without parents.

That's so true about feeling sad for kids without parents. I can't watch any news about child abuse or bad things happening to kids. I can't event watch Law & Order SVU anymore!

It has made me begin to understand the sacrifices my parents made for me and my brother. It has humbled me.

You look at the world completely different, like all those little things that would irritate or stress me out, actually don't matter.
You change your attitude, because you know that baby will feel every emotion you feel, so even if I'm having a bad day, I gotta be positive and send out those happy vibes to baby.
You live each day like it would be your last, time is so precious and you make the best of each minute with baby.

So many great responses already! It hasn't changed me that much in terms of my personality...I am still as impatient as before.
The one big thing though, is that I have to let go of the small things. I used to obsess over tiny things and now I simply don't have the energy or the time!
