My mom worked while my dad was in school, and during that time my dad did most of the childcare. My dad didn't do much childcare when we were really little (under 3), but he did do a lot after that. And growing up my dad was very much a family man (plus he cooked and cleaned which was rare for his generation/culture).
When we were older, my dad was the scary disciplinarian. (We weren't really scared of our mom).
Overall he was very involved.

Very, very much involved. He actually worked less than my mom, so he was home and cooked and cleaned a lot and drove me to many after school activities.

He was definitely involved.... And I love watching him with my son and my nephew! Being a grandpa has definitely brought out another (adorable) side that I never noticed before! I love it. And my son loves his "boppa".

Very, very. He worked from home with a super flexible schedule so he was always available. Plus, he's just an incredibly kind and considerate person, and he loves nothing more than spending time with family.

Very very involved. More involved than my mom.
Cooked, cleaned, taught me how to read, how to read time, sat there and watched me practice piano for hours, took me to the driving range with him every Monday night, took us to Burger King every Saturday for lunch... lots of fond memories with him.

Not especially. Mostly discipline. Very involved when report cards came out. He worked out of town a lot, and didn't really know us well.

I have a little bit more of an odd situation. My parents were divorced and my dad had me and my brother. He did a great job raising us but once we got older he was not very involved with school work or grades. He did work a lot to be able to pay for extra things for us like my brothers baseball and I played the flute and band trips. I never did dance or any other girly things because of being raised by a man.

He was super involved especially in elementary school. My dad worked from home and when I was in elementary my mom went back to get her degree so he was always the one there (not that my mom wasn't).

Do Christmas presents in a Walmart sack count? Ha! While my dad didn't do a lot of direct parenting, we never felt neglected or that he needed to be more involved. I guess he seems like a stereotypical dad. Both my parents worked many jobs at once, though, so after a certain point we were left entirely to our own devices.

Very. When I was young, my mom went to work at 5am, so dad did all of the mornings for years and he was usually home by 5:30-6. As I got older, my mom was in really poor health, so my dad was the one parenting us most of the time.

Very. My mom and dad were divorced so they were each solo parenting basically. My dad was stricter than my mom but in a good way. I learned a lot from him and he taught me everything I needed for adulthood. Sounds boring but I'm so grateful. We also played outside ALL the time. Looking back I don't see how he had the time to play with us so much because he worked full time and managed several properties. But he always made time.

Hmm....! My dad was an alcoholic who didn't work, while my mum worked multiple jobs to keep the family afloat.... so we was there a lot and was very involved with me but he didn't "parent" as such. For example, my mum had an early morning cleaning job so my dad was there when I got up for school but I picked my outfit, dressed myself, never brushed my teeth and failed to brush my hair each morning. Then I would walk myself to school (all of this from about 6 years old). Then my mum had an evening cleaning job so it was my dad who I spent evenings with. I remember them so fondly, we'd listen to music, do some gardening, he taught me to play the drums.... but minimal "parenting". Doctors appointments = mum. School report card = mum. Any discipline = mum. And if mum was home, dad was at the pub. Period.

Very involved. He is an amazing father, and I can't wait to see him with his grandkids. Being around kids brings out a lighter side of him which is nice.

My dad was a firefighter, so he worked shift work while my mom worked 9-5. He was very involved and I have a ton of awesome memories. Miss him.

Just as involved as my mom (if not moreso). He went to work really early so he got off early and picked us up from school, helped us with homework, and cooked dinner.

Very, very involved! He is an amazing father. He and my mom both worked and worked a LOT but they're both academics and so had flexible schedules and could work at home. My dad went to work early and then took care of dinner prep so my mom could work late. He is an amazing grandfather too! Though I have a suspicion he's never changed a diaper, lol

My mom was a SAHM so she did most of the childcare, but my dad was the displinarian also and yikes!!! Scary yo!
He took us to school every morning and helped us with all our homework. He's super knowledgable.

Even though my stepmom was a SAHM, he was very involved. E would come home, cook dinner, help with bath time, etc. My favorite part of the day was when my dad came home from work!

Not that much, but it wasn't that bad either. He was the typical working dad. When I was older he traveled for work a lot too. But I def still have a lot of memories of him spending time with me & my sister on weekends and vacations!

Very, very involved. My parents worked opposite schedules for a long time, so it was truly 50/50. My dad was even better at my hair when my mom was. Before school every day, I would hand him my hairbrush and give him my "order" - usually two French braids 
When I was older my dad traveled a lot for work, but he still came to every track meet, cross country meet, and cheer competition.

Not very. My parents got divorced when I was 5 and he moved out of state when I was 7. We talked on the phone once in a while. No real parenting going on there. We did go visit during the summer once when he was still single. After he remarried, his wife (who was awesome) did a lot of it. Funnily enough, I have good memories of that time and feel like my dad may not have parented me much in the traditional sense when I was kid, but he was a big influence/support as I got older.

My mom moved away when I was 3 so I grew up with my dad as a single parent. I still saw my mom but my dad basically did the parenting.
