LO is only 3 weeks old so I can only comment on a couple:
Preemie diapers--never
Newborn diapers--she is 3w today and is still in newborn, but they're getting a little snug so we'll probably switch to 1s once we get through this box (within the next week)
She weighed 7lbs 8oz at birth.

She's super long and skinny. Size 1s would still fit if she wasn't so long.

My daughter is 6 weeks old and still in NB size. We tried the 1's and they were still too big which caused her to have some poop leaks.. She was born at 6 lbs, 10 oz and is 9 lbs, 14 oz now. Hopefully after this box, we can try size 1s again.
It's really just going to depend on your babys's weight at birth

Preemie Diapers = never
Newborn Diapers = we tried the ones provided by the hospital but they didn't fit DH had to bring in 1s
Size 1 = birth to four weeks (used one big box)
Size 2 = four weeks to twelve weeks (used two big boxes)
Size 3 = 12 weeks - 6.5 months (used three big boxes)
Size 4 = 6.5 months ......she's still below the weight limit on fours, but three squeeze her thighs and leave crazy red marks.

We just switched to 2 s at 11 lbs, right before 12 weeks. NB for the first two weeks, maybe, so 1s from 2 to 12 weeks. We used 2 cases of 1 s plus a sleeve or two that was given to us. Not sure how many NB we used.
