Within a hour of birth and really bad 3-4 months PP.

When DD turned one, I started thinking about #2 but it wasn't until she was 15 months that I REALLY started thinking about it. We got pregnant with #2 when DD was 17 months.

around 6 months. until that point i couldn't imagine having any more kids... those first 6 months are rough!

Around 6 months. I went from being pretty comfortable in the idea of only having one to suddenly and desperately wanting a second.

I'm pregnant with #1, but have baby fever for a second already. Is that even allowed?
pomegranate / 3204 posts
It was probably around 8 months, really bad 10-12 months. We got pregnant when LO was 13 months.

Same as @autumnlove ... Almost as soon as mine was born I was thinking about #2! Then the newborn days were rough and I stopped thinking about it as much. Now LO is 3 months old and I've definitely got baby fever.

As soon as I was past the 1st trimester with this first baby. Seriously! Once the sickness/worry was gone, I already started dreaming of my 2nd baby. I think we're planning on having our kids very close together, which is maybe why I'm already thinking about it!

I was FINE until @Matador84 recently posted about her BFP!

T is 15 months and I don't have it yet....starting to seem less scary but I still definitely don't have baby fever.

I would say when E was around 13 months. But it's not in the cards for us for at least another year

@MsLipGloss: Dude... you are calling poor @Matador84 out all over the place! You need to just go ahead and get KU again already!!!

I wouldn't say that I have FEVER, but I'm definitely thinking about #2 (Xander's almost 6 months). We had always said we wanted two kids close in age, so I'm more thinking about it to stick with our plan, not because I have actual baby fever, if that makes sense...
wonderful grape / 20453 posts
already thinking about #2, same as @adira.....we'll be ttc late spring/early summer. it feels like it's coming up fast! I guess i'm just mostly excited for a big family
GOLD / pineapple / 12662 posts
@MamaMoose: Yeah, prolly so. I mean, it's not all her fault . . .she is just such a cute preggo! And really, that announcement was at the beginning of the chain of BFPs, and it made me realize just how small my window is, and chances are, it's just not in the cards.
I'm sorry @Matador84. Hopefully you know it's just because I have an interwebs crush on you because we're date twins.

Around 7-8 months, she was sleeping through the night so it kept getting easier. We didn't start trying until DD was 15ish months

M is 10.5 months and I'm just starting to think that a #2 might not be the worst thing ever (please forgive me, colic PTSD mom here). I'm hoping that in another 6-8 months I'll be feverish

@MsLipGloss: I'm holding out hope. It might only be a crack but the window is open. It's OPEN!

It started when LO was 6 months old. Sleep coming back to our family was huge. There's part of me that's more nervous for the newborn phase than the pregnancy thing.

Right after DS1 was born! Haha. I felt crazy but I couldn't help it.

My LO is 16 months and there's absolutely no baby fever in sight. Visited my husband's cousin and her newborn in the hospital tonight and I think it just added some more time on the baby fever clock. No thanks.

@MamaMoose: This totally made me LOL irl. DH thought I might be choking!

None. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Spend a day, or better yet a NIGHT in my house and you'll understand
eggplant / 11824 posts
LO is 14 months and no, no, no fever here. I love seeing wrinkly little newborns, but then I remember how crappy pregnancy and the newborn days were and I just feel sympathy for the new parents!

7 months! !!
I got pregnant when LO was 11 months and I was starting to get impatient!

Mine comes and goes, mostly whenever I see a newborn. Then I snap out of it when my darling 15 month old throws a temper tantrum....

At about 3-4 months PP, then sleep regression hit and it went away. Came back after sleep training at 5.5 months but was only flirting with the idea. Surprise pregnancy when N was 7.5 months, am 11 weeks in and still in shock.

@Mrs. Pen: I think that'll be me!
11 months so far and nothing! Fussy til 4 months, traveled out of town a lot between then and 7 months, 8-9 months had a sleep regression, and tantrums/meltdowns started by 10 months... I don't feel like I need another one!!
pomegranate / 3983 posts
I had it before the 4 month sleep regression hit- it is now far, far away....

LO is 8 days old today.
I think it started before we were even out of the hospital. They weren't even finished stitching me up after delivery and DH was going on about "having another." XD I never thought I'd see the day. LO wasn't planned and it's so surreal to look back on that day I took the pregnancy test and how distraught I was about the prospect of having a baby. And now I'm looking down at this perfect little boy and thinking, Jesus, how much extreme couponing and DIY homesteading would it take to be able to reach Duggar-level baby making?
cantaloupe / 6687 posts
@Mrs. Pen: same...LO is 21 months and no fever!
We are planning to start trying this fall when LO turns 2 but I just don't have the fever...my husband does though!
