Did you wait the recommended 6 weeks? Did you do it sooner? Later?

We fooled around at about 3 weeks. Tried at 8.5. It hurt so we tried again closer to 10 weeks. Still uncomfortable but not awful.

We waited until 6 weeks, it still kind of hurt at first.

I waited 6 weeks and I'm glad I did. My advice is use plenty of lube and take it slow.

@Mrsdaredevil: It did at first, but then we did "other stuff"... but when 6 weeks came I didn't feel ready.. and we just never did it. It wasn't until 3 months.

We only waited 3.5 weeks and I had to have an episiotomy, that was the most painful part, it's still very sensitive where I had stitches. At my 4 week pp appt, my doctor said I was completely healed so sex is okay, although it is recommended to wait 6 weeks.

2 weeks. I didn't have any tearing and was feeling ready. Then it was another 2 weeks before the next time and it was actually worse than the first.
I'd say that as long as you didn't have any terrible tearing and you feel ready then go ahead. I think the longer we wait the "tighter" everything gets down there and then it hurts more.
