Everything is so tight! Bras, pants, even soft stretchy fabrics don't fit. I know it goes back but how long did it take for you ladies to shrink back to your pre pregnancy size?

It took a good 6 months the first time (but even then, I went from a 32 band size to a 38 while pregnant, and then only down to a 34 before I got pregnant again at 10 months PP).
The second time, everything had shrunk back to normal by 3 months PP.

I was able to buy new bras in my pre preg size about 11 months PP. I had to drop the last 10 pounds for everything to shrink back and I didn't really get serious until 8 months PP. I'm up a band size right now with 30 pounds to go

My ribcage never went back, I'm a band size up now. Hips got smaller within 6 months but never went back to pre pregnancy size!

Mine didn't - hips didn't either. It was extremely depressing to have to replace my work wardrobe.

My ribs never went back. My super-non-educated-no-medical-knowledge based opinion is that because I am short, with a short body and somewhat longer legs, carrying a big-ish baby led to permanent changes to my hips and ribs. But that might be my crazy talking.

Ribs... maybe 6 months? I had to work on my stomach muscles to get my upper body to feel anywhere close to how it used to though. Hips I'm still waiting on at 18 months pp! I have kind of resigned myself to the fact that there are some of my clothes I will never wear again! I was super tiny before pregnancy though, so I don't know if that makes a difference.

I didn't have much of a problem with ribs. Hips about 2 months with LO1 and maybe 4-5 with LO2?

Ribs were back to pre pregnancy size by a week or two PP with both kids. My hips took a little longer and it seems to be taken longer with LO2 than it did with LO1. In months probably 4m vs. 6m.

My ribs never went back. I grew out of a couple of favorite shirts for good I think my hips never changed in the first place.

My ribs didn't expand, and bra band size didn't change, just cup size changed.
Hips, I'm not sure. I can't tell if mine went completely back or not. My old clothes all fit, and started to around a year postpartum, so maybe around a year+? My OB said you aren't fully healed from childbirth internally, for 18 months, so it's reasonable to think things like hips might take quite a while to heal and go back, too.

My ribs have gone up 4 inches both times I got pregnant. I couldn't really say how long it took to go back after the first one, but not a terribly long time. We'll see after this time.
