Just curious. I'm not pregnant (or ttc I guess, since we've tabled that discussion) but I'm just wondering how long you bees were married prior to babies.

LO was due 2 days before our second anniversary, but arrived 3 days after.

Oops, I hit the wrong button...we waited 3 years after we got married before we started trying for a baby. There were times that I had baby fever after the first year, but I'm SOOO glad we waited and had that time together before the LO joined the family

Conceived 6 months after our wedding exactly. We planned it. Oh boy. We nearly bit off more than we could chew. By God's grace we lived to tell!

@owlmom: Aw that's cute! I was born the day after my grandparents' anniversary.

@sandy: I like hearing "glad we waited" stories. Makes me not want to rush as much. haha

@808love: Hahah that's cute! Judging by your profile pic, your baby is adorable.

We dated for 7 years so, 7 months after we got married, we started trying. If we had dated for less time, we might have waited longer but we wanted to have a baby before we turned 40. I'll be 35 his year, he'll be 39.

We got married in June and we'll be TTC in April, so a little less than a year.

Found out I was pregnant the day before our six month wedding anniversary!

We got married 3/05 and conceived 7/09. We waited until we bought a house. We got pregnant 2 weeks after moving in. LOL.

Well, I got pregnant a couple of months after we got married but miscarried. My lo came a year and a half after we got married.

We started trying right after we got married but only because I was 35 and he was 42. After a loss, I'm now 12w5d pregnant. If we were younger, we would have waited. I'm due the week of our 2nd wedding anniversary.

Got pregnant a month before our second wedding anniversary (but had been trying for 8 mos and had a miscarriage) - baby is due after we have been married for 2.5 years.

We waited a year to start TTC. We definitely would have waited longer if we were in our 20’s (or both in our 30’s), but since my husband is 46, we had a bit of a push to start sooner.

Almost a year. It was a good time for us. We'd dated awhile and traveled and then had time to figure out ourselves as a married couple and take some trips. I liked that timing and we probably would have waited a bit longer if we were younger.

If I had to suggest a good time frame, I'd say anywhere after a year of marriage. It gives you guys time to settle into being married. However, I got pregnant 5 months after we were married (oopsy) and it's all good. We were together for 8 years already.

We started trying a little bit before our second anniversary. I got pregnant after 4 months of trying. Baby will arrive about 2 months before our third anniversary.

started trying at our 2nd anniversary, but finally got pregnant with charlie right after our 4 year anniversary.

We are starting to try a couple months before our first wedding anniversary, so hopefully it will be about 2 years once the baby is born. Still trying to get that positive though.

I put two to four years. We are coming up on our 2nd anniversary. We started TTC right after our first. We haven't gotten pregnant yet, and even though we are facing fertility treatments I'm hopeful that we'll conceive and have a baby in the next two years.

We dated for 2 years and in that 2 years we bought a house, got our careers on track, and decided that we didn't want to wait to start trying. We pulled the goalie and then a month later the crazy man proposed. Now we are due in Sept and the wedding is in January.

We've been married for 1.5 years and we'll be starting TTC in about a year. It will ideally be 3-4 years married when baby cheesetot arrives.

Voted 2-4 years but that's how long before the baby actually arrives. It was about a year and a half between getting married and finding out I was pregnant!

We got pregnant 7 months after we got married and baby girl should be arriving any day now - today is her due date. We had planned on waiting a year after we got married so pretty close to our plans. I went off BC a year before the wedding and we were NTNC after the wedding.

We got married a month before our daughter turned two and started trying for our second the month we got married. It worked right away and now our second is due in June. We were dating for three years before I got pregnant with our daughter.
