Our 9 month old started pulling herself up last week (equal parts exciting, and "oh my goodness, where did our baby go?"). She's starting to walk around the table, and transfer from ottoman to table. I know every baby is different, but what would you guess was your timeline (in days or weeks) that it took to go from pulling up, to standing independently, to walking?

She started pulling up around 9 months. Stood at 12.5 months, and took her first steps about three days later, and I would say was really walking consistently about a week after that.

Pulled up for the first time at 7 months, started walking at 10.5 months. Didn't stand up on his own until after he started walking, though.

My daughter has been pulling up since 6 months and cruising since 6.5. She's almost 8 months and not standing alone or close to walking alone yet. My nephew who started pulling up and cruising around 9 months took steps starting around 12 months and at 13 months still isn't walking. My other nephew went from pulling up walking in a matter of days around 12 months. I think it varies a lot from baby to baby.

She pulled up to standing and crawled the same weekend, I think it was 7.5 months. She could stand and cruise well at about 8.5 months and took first steps alone at 10 months. At 11 months, I'd say she could walk consistently.

Crawled at 7.5 months, pulled up at 9, cruised at 10 but didn't walk til 14!

Just a few months. E was cruising at 7 months, standing at 9 months, not holding onto stuff, walking just before 10 months

I don't really remember. But I know I have a picture of him before halloween at our window where he pulled himself to so that would have been 9.5 months. He started walking right at 12 months, maybe 11.5. I don't think he stood unassisted between the two.

I wrote everything down so...
8.5 months- pulled herself up on zany zoo
9 months- pulling up on everything
10.5 months- walks well with walker and cruises furniture
11.5 months - can get into standing position unassisted
13.5 months- took first steps unassisted and now at 14 months is walking 90% of time. -
I think it's really different from baby to baby. LO pulled up at 7 months, crusing at 7.5 months but wouldn't push walkers until around 11.5 months. Started taking a few steps at 12 months. She just over 13 months now and she's still not walking, but she will stand on her own and walk one-handed now though. My friends LO went from pulling up to crusing to standing to walking all in a month and she was walking full time when she was 11 months.

LO started pulling up before she crawled, around 8 months. She stood unassisted at around 9 months and she did that for a good while before she took her first steps at 10.5 months.
I guess it was less than 2 months of standing unassisted before she took steps but everyone who saw how well she stood for long periods, and stood up independently without pulling up, always assumed she was walking or that she would be walking "any day," so I got the impression that standing and walking usually come close together?

I don't remember the exact times, but DS was about 2 months between pulling up and independently walking.
DD has been pulling up to stand since about 9.5 months. She's 10.5 months now and lets go of things and can stand on her own for a few seconds. She looooves to walk holding my hands, but doesn't do much cruising on the furniture. I'm guessing she'll be walking before she's one, but who knows!

She pulled up at 7 months, first step at 9.5 months, walking all the time 10.5 months.

LO started crawling and pulling up in the same week at about 9 months, she stood up on her own at 11.5 months and took her first steps the next day. (This was this past weekend, so she is not walking a lot yet.)

Charlie pulling up maybe 7 months? cruising 8 months, first steps 12 months, walking 13 months.

LO1 - pulled up at 7.5 months, cruised at 8 months, stood on own at 9.5/10 months and first steps were soon after. Walked well independently by 11 months.
LO2 has been hitting milestones faster so we'll see.. He started pulling up at 6 months and is starting to cruise now at 7 months

We pulled up at 6-7 months, then walking at 11+ months. I couldn't remember when did he stand unassisted. Maybe 10 months.

You mamas with walkers before ONE! Oh my goodness ... After Al started pulling up, we've had to get rid of all clutter, remotes, mail, phones, cups, etc. from our coffee table. Instant kid proofing!
