So this is my first month off my BCP. We are not TTC...yet. My period was due (if I follow a 28 day cycle) yesterday. I don't have any cramps, nothing to indicate it's coming. I took a preg test this AM that was negative (we were using condoms so I would have been surprised if it was 
!).
So I understand some people have crazy long cycles when they first come off BCP, like 50 or 60 days. What was your experience?

When we decided to TTC, it was spontaneous so I stopped my BC pills in the middle of the pack. I got my period a week later and had a normal cycle right after that I got pregnant on. I think I ovulated on CD 12 or 13.

My first cycle was on time and normal length, but the next one got longer, and then the third got longer as well. It's not abnormal that it's taking longer... If you're pretty sure you're not KU, your body is probably still adjusting! I wouldn't worry for maybe another week at least!

it was almost 70 days and I didn't get it so OB gave me provera to get it started

29 days. I think at that point BCP was still in my system and maintaining my cycles, because it turned out I have PCOS and super long cycles once BCP wore off.

Mine took about 40 days, but that's actually on the shorter side of my cycles. They're usually about 40-45 days.

6 months! I finally called my OB and she got me on some meds to induce my period.

I stopped at the end of a pack (I was on the mini pill) - I ovulated exactly 2 weeks later (noted CM and took an OPK) and got my period 2 weeks after that. I think a lot of my "ease" was having taken the mini pill, though!

My first cycle off BC was 40 days, but after that they went back to my usual 30ish days.

It took 38 days, which is on the normal side for me. My next cycle I became pregnant.

I had a "fake period" (birth control period) when I stopped BC, then 19 days later I just got my first natural one. Ugh, give me back the BC ones!

Before my son, I was on BCP for 10+ years. It took maybe 35 days to get my first natural period? After my son I was on it for about 1.5 years. It took 30 days to get a period.

I never got a real one. I went off the pill - had a tiny bit of spotting bleeding the following month and then continued to get no period for 4 months. The following month I had a positive test - I was about to call my Dr. though because I thought there was something wrong with getting no period.

About my normal cycle - 30 days when I was usually 28 days. They went back to normal quick.

It was a long time ago but somewhere between 28 and 30 days. I was regular right away.

Uggh, you all are making me nervous. I just want to get it. I have no idea if I ovulated or not this month. I started temping about halfway through the month, but it doesn't look like any sort of pattern or anything. I was on BC for 10 years, so honestly I don't even remember what my periods were like before. I was in high school so they were always kind of irregular. But I was young, so I don't know.
I am a bit underweight (BMI about 18) but I'm not super active so I don't think it's low body fat percentage keeping me from ovulating. I am trying to put on a little weight.
Now I am paranoid I didn't get my period because I didn't ovulate which means I am messed up and won't be able to have a baby! I need to calm down. LOL!

i think it was awhile...37 days or somewhere around there. it takes some time for the body to adjust. i still have somewhat long cycles, in the low 30s-days and i ovulate fairly late (day 22 this cycle).

I quit when the nuvaring would've had to be changed. Got my withdrawing bleeding and had normalish 28-30 day cycle after that.

I immediately started a totally normal cycle of 28-29 days after stopping the pill. Never had issues.

I went off in January and my cycles were 36, 42, and I'm on day 38 on the third one. So mine are longer, but they might naturally be longer? I was taking BC since I was 16 though (so ~12 years) so I have no idea what my cycle should actually look like!

mine were exactly normal after going off the pill. Ranged from 28-30 days which was about the same when I was on the pill as well.

Within 30 days I think. I ovulated a couple days late (I think CD 18) but by the next cycle it was day 14.
I never took BCP to help regulate my period though...it was completely normal prior to starting BCPs. I'm not sure if that would make a difference!
