My LO is turning 3 months this Tuesday and I was asked tonight when I was due (ouch). With hubby's work schedule and no help with childcare, the only time I have to work out is after 10pm!
What are some of your workout and quick healthy meal plans?

Oh man, I am almost 9 months PP and I'm still carrying 12lbs. SIGH. NO advice here!

I gained about 50lbs during my pregnancy. It took about 10 months for me to lose 45. I never lost ALL of my weight before getting pregnant again.
I did Jillian's 30 day shred (it's 20 mins/day). You can also jump on myfitnesspal.com and track your daily intake.
I would drink lots of water, eat fruits and veggies and lean meats. Weight loss is 90% diet. Good luck!

I was going to suggest the 30 day shred! I did it before my wedding - only 20 minutes a day and you do it in your living room - get great results FAST! Good luck ; )

I'd concentrate on your diet to lose the weight and on exercise to get your shape back! Generally you should be eating as clean as you would during pregnancy (though the treats/risky foods are thrown back in too). Nutrition > calories. Avoid empty calories like carbs/alcohol and learn to eat reasonable portions.
bodyrock.tv is a great, free workout alternative that you can do at home. The workouts are usually about 15 minutes long. Easy to fit in during the day.

I gained about 65lbs, and I'm still up about 35lbs at 3 months pp. I just got the P90X and after our move, I'll be starting it (on May 14th). I want to be in better shape than before I was pregnant.
I've heard over and over again though, it takes 9 months to put on the weight, it takes 9 for it to come off.

It took me a while. I gained 30 lbs with my first, and breastfeed til 4 months. Until that point I had lost almost all my weight (7 lbs to go) then seeing I stopped breastfeeding (and continued eating the same way) I gained another 12 lbs back.
I was devastated. So come the new year, I started counting calories and lost 15 lbs in 3 months but still have a 5 lbs to lose... and then never lost it and got pregnant.

It took me about 6 weeks of doing nothing special besides breastfeeding. I was up to 163 lbs on the day I gave birth and I am now 127 which is below my pre pregnancy weight of 129 but I am FLABBY. Must tone up!!!

LO is 9 months and I still have 10 pounds to go. Which doesn't sound too bad... but I gained a lot before LO was born.

I gained about 40 lbs with Wagon Jr. and lost the first 30 in the first month. I was nursing like crazy and had no appetite. I lost the next 5 when he was about 9 months old when I went back on weight watchers (I lost 25 lbs on it a few years back) and I still had the extra 5 when I got pregnant with Baby #2 last November.
I would highly recommend weight watchers. It is the only way I have ever lost more than 5 lbs in my entire life. I lost about 25 lbs in six months about 5 years ago. The only problem is that when I stopped tracking (I only did the online program) I gained most of it back within a year.

Like Mrs. Bee I lost mine without diet and exercise within a few months I think bc of breastfeeding. Also like Minnie_Girl said I kept eating as well as I did during pregnancy...trying to stay away from too muh junk food and no fast food. I gained almost 50 pounds and am below by prepregnancy weight but the belly is all loose and flabby...hopefully that goes away with time ..I heard I'm supposed to do crunches.

My LO is 2 months old and I'm about 5 lbs from prebaby weight but 25 from my goal weight. No special dieting to be honest. I eat pretty clean (most days, lol), smoothies for breakfast, salads and protien for lunch... but I attribute most of my success to breastfeeding. My shape is definitely different though so even if my jeans fit, they fit odd. I really need to tone!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who has weight to lose!
I'm 6 months PP, and have 5 pesky pounds to lose. I started Weight Watchers a month ago, and while my clothes are starting to fit differently, those 5lbs haven't budged.
I gained a little over 30lbs with Little Jumper, gained another 10 in water weight after she was born, and lost 35 of it within the first two weeks. I wish the last 5lbs was this easy -- I STILL can't put on my pre-pregnancy jeans,.

My story...
I gained about 35 pounds with pregnancy. I'm 5'10" and my ideal weight is around 165, but I hadn't weighed that in a while. I was about 185 when I got pregnant and 221 when I gave birth. I dropped to 200 almost immediately. (A 10+ lb baby helps!) I hovered between 193 and 199 for 9 months though. Breastfeeding didn't help me lose weight and I struggled with my supply after the first 2-3 months, so I was scared to diet.
Finally I realized that DS was going to be 9 months old in 2 days and I was still at the same weight I was when he was 9 weeks old! I was no longer breastfeeding or pumping, so I got busy. I tracked everything in MyFitnessPal. Everything! I set it to lose 1.5 pounds a week initially, so I was eating about 1350 calories a day plus 75% of whatever calories I burned doing exercise. I didn't add exercise right away though, but gradually started doing workout DVDs (Jillian Michaels), running and riding the stationary bike we have at home.
By DS's 1st birthday I was down 27 pounds, to 173! I'm now training for a half marathon May 6, so I stopped focusing on losing weight and have been eating more calories each day to make sure I have the energy to run well. After the half, my goal is to get under 165 and get back to using the Jillian Michael's DVDs to help me tone my midsection.
I love to hate women who get under their pre-pregnancy weight in a few weeks or months just by breastfeeding, but I also know I wasn't making good food choices for most of the 9 months after DS was born. However now that I'm used to eating much smaller portions again, it's easier to stick to those portion sizes and I just need to focus on making positive food choices.

I gained about 32 lbs. Was breastfeeding/pumping so by about 4-5 months, I had lost all but 5 lbs. I still have those 5 lbs (mainly distributed around the midsection) at 1 year old. haha, but that is my own fault for eating badly and not exercising. 1/2 of my pre-pregnancy clothes fit, the other half don't.

My friend gave me a Yoga Mama DVD (Shiva Rae) at my shower this weekend. I'm looking forward to trying it out after LO arrives - I think having a workout that I can do with the baby will help me carve some time out during the day to get some exercise.
