Today, at 7 weeks pp, I noticed that I still had a slight sway to my walk...even though I'm 30 pounds lighter! What's up with that?
Any of you ladies still walk in a pregnant lady fashion?

I don't think so. I am sure DH would have called me out for waddling if I was.

@Arden: Maybe it's the pain...my tailbone is still tender if I sit too long.

I don't think I ever walked like a pregnant lady, and I had no perineal trauma because I had am emergency c-section with very little labour, so no sore bits to protect!

I don't know, but probably a week or two. For at least a week pp I felt like I couldn't stand up straight. It's like every muscle in my back had disappeared. That definitely contributed to my funny walk.

YES! I totally waddled way more post partum than at 39 weeks. So much pain down there! At least six weeks. Was so glad when that was over!

@Dandelion: I hate to tell you this, but sometimes that tailbone pain doesn't go away. I'm 11 months pp and I still have it at times.
It hurts!

@tysonja: Good, glad I'm not alone...I was starting to feel weird for even mentioning it, lol

@belleoftheballe: I'm so tired of hurting...it really only bugs me after I'm driving, but it's really frustrating. I'm still living on Ibuprofen for it, and the days that I think I can try to get on without it, I end up giving in or sore anyways.

I waddled until the pain went away. About 4 weeks.
Hope it goes away for you soon too!

@Dandelion: that sort of pain can be terrible! Have you considered seeing a chiropractor? I've never been pregnant, so I'm not sure if it would help...but I had some tailbone/lower back pain a few weeks ago and 2 adjustments fixed it. Again, not the same situation, but it could be worth looking into!
