My gf who just recently had her son, was determined to stay home as long as possible so that she was admitted the first time to the hospital... she said she labored at home from 11pm to 6am.
What about you?

Water broke at 9pm on Thursday, went to hospital at 1pm on Friday and they wanted to admit me, but I wasn't in active labour yet so I went home. Went back at 10am on Saturday and stayed until she was born!

Like 30 minutes? Enough time for me to go ddong, shower, brush my teeth, wake mom and DH and head out the door!
Labor came fast for me. Contractions every 3-4 minutes right away!

I labored at home from around 1 pm to 330 am. I was at 9 when we got to the hospital so it was pretty close!

My contractions started out like 20 minutes apart at around 7am (or at least, that's when I couldn't sleep through them) and slowly got closer together and more intense as the day went out. I went to the hospital around 11pm when they where 4-5 minutes apart, 1 minute long for over 2 hours. I was sent home around 1am because they STOPPED when I was in L&D. I labored at home for another 2-3hrs (bad, bad pain) before I insisted on going back to the hospital.
So altogether somewhere around 18 hours?

My early labor started around 7AM but I didn't start timing contractions until 11ish. I actually had a weekly doctor's appointment that day, so I still went but was only 2 cm dilated at that point. We went back home after the appt and the pain started to get bad around 4ish. We headed to the hospital at 8:30pm. I was 4 cm then so they admitted me.

My water broke and I went to the hospital immediately after that so no laboring on my own at home.

My contractions started at about 8-10 minutes apart at 6:45 in the morning. I headed to the hospital around 3:30 but didn't get there until around 4:45 due to bad traffic. So I labored for about ten hours before getting to the hospital. I went from 4-5cm dilated at 3:30 (at the doctor, they told me to come in when the contractions were about 5 minutes apart) to about 6cm when I got to the hospital.

Considering I planned a homebirth I labored at home for 44 hours and then transferred and delivered DD almost exactly 1 hour after the decision to transfer was made.
