Just curious as to how long it took everyone to get pregnant?

It took us 6 mos for our sticky baby, but I guess technically was our second cycle trying (for both pregnancies).

It took us 8 months for our sticky baby - I got pregnant on month 3, but miscarried and then got pregnant on month 4 after my miscarriage (had to take some time off in between and had longish cycles) and it stuck.

It took us 5 months but 6 cycles since my cycles were only about 25 days.

First try? I went off bc in may, but we used condoms until sept - which is when I got pregnant. We were planning to start TTC in October. First baby, we're 30 and 46.

It was our first cycle trying BUT I had been prepping to TTC for about 6 months (stopped BC, started charting, started taking prenatals, etc.)

We pulled the goalie in January, but didn't get serious about really trying until May-ish. I got pregnant in July.

I got pregnant the first time just 4 months after going off the BCP but had a miscarriage. The second time it took 10 months - it was our last natural cycle before moving onto IVF.

I put "weren't trying, just happened" b/c while we weren't using protection, we also weren't charting or anything. but from the time I went off to the time we got pregnant was 9-ish months

I stopped birth control in January only because my insurance changed and the copay went up :-)....pregnant in March. Whoops!

10 months, but miscarried. Got pregnant again in Month 13 (because I refuse to start my month count over again--I earned those months), and the jury's still out about this one sticking. 6 and a half weeks, and feeling cautiously optimistic.

starting cycle 11....but this one will be Clomid + possible IUI (if the timing works out with the holidays and office closures)

Technically the first try however we weren't actively TTC, charting etc. We just got married in Oct. but it happened right away. Just saw the heart beat for the first time yesterday so apparently our odds of MC goes down to below 5%. I sure hope that's accurate b/c we are hoping for a sticky one!

We got pregnant on cycle 3. We got really lucky b/c we were trying to time the pregnancy so that the baby would be born in a very short window that works for us career-wise. If we hadn't conceived by cycle #5, then we were probably going to have to put our baby making on hold for another year.

@FutureMrsMcK: Yes you did earn those months!
@Tidybee: Good luck!!!! I hope this is the cycle for you!
@ktgee04: Such a relief to hear the heartbeat!
@skibobrown: That is lucky!

It took us 13 months, but I had hellishly long cycles, and got pregnant on my first "normal" cycle (using metformin for PCOS)

I'm on 17 right now. If I was a first-monther, my baby would be 6 months old...

We got pregnant on the first try but lost it. We're on cycle 3 of trying again. I'm hoping my New Year's present will be a BFP.

Just finishing month 8 of trying...like Mrs. Green Grass I found myself thinking today that if we had been successful that first month I'd be giving birth in January instead of starting month #9!

I got pregnant on our 4th cycle. 7 weeks along now and hoping this little alien sticks.

@Mrs Green Grass:
&
@bloved: I have thought the same thing very often- if we had gotten the bfp first try, this would be a little brother instead of the first. Hang in there ladies, we're rooting for you!
