DS is 13 months and we use the Ergo all the time. It's great! I wouldn't be comfortable with him walking around on his own yet and sometimes bringing the stroller is impossible or a hassle.
How long do you think I can use the Ergo for? I'm thinking of things we'll do this spring, taking DS on the subway, etc. Is that realistic with the Ergo? I can't imagine lugging around the stroller.

Well the max weight is 45lbs, so I guess its all up to you and how comfortable you feel. we stil use ours regularly at 9 months

I still use it occasionally with my 18 month old. In a shopping cart she doesn't sit still or wants to walk and its just easier.

@Thehistoryofus: good to know! we've been taking him to hockey games in it and he loves it. Obviously I wouldn't be able to bring a stroller to an arena and I can't imagine just holding him.

We stopped with DD after 18m but mostly because we didn't go anywhere we needed to use it.

I didn't use it very much but LO was almost 9 months the last time she sat in it!
