LO has to wear a bib pretty much all the time or he soaks his shirts. I was thinking about making him a bunch of bandanna bibs that are a little more stylish, but I was wondering, how long will he need to wear them?
What age was your drooly baby when they stopped needing to wear a bib 24/7?

I don't exactly remember but he stopped wearing them all the time maybe around 9-10 months or so? By that time his 1st six teeth had popped through and his drooling wasn't as bad. I had tons because he would go through like 10 a day.

I think until around 15-16 months. He was a very drooly baby. We had a ton of bibs for him. lol

She was so totally drooly from like 4-6 months. now she is drooly but not like, soaking her shirt. I don't keep bibs on her now mostly, but I do sometimes have to change a onesie mid-day

C wore bibs (and went through 3-4 of them per day) until about 15 months. H is almost 8 months and is drooly as ever. I wish I knew how to sew so I could make bibdannas!

Don't remember exactly, but probably about a year? She was SUPER droopy for at least 6 months from 4-10 months. I amassed a huge collection of bibs.

Thanks everyone! Sounds like it will be well worth the effort. LO is 7 months, but no teeth in sight yet, so I think we still have a long drooly future ahead of us.

She was SUPER drooly from 3 months to about 8 months. One day I realized she wasn't drooling at all! It was like a faucet turned off.

Ummm J is 22 months and still wearing bibs! I just bit the bullet and bought a few more bc we go through so many of them. I've started double bibbing (when he wears two bibs at once!).

@BadgerMom: If you make bibdanas, please share how you make them! My LO is still younger, but I see bibs in our future for quite a while still.

We only use bibs sporadically, on super extra drooly days. Bibs with a Velcro closure always leave red marks on the back of E's neck and we only have a couple with snaps. I guess I could go buy others...though since he is sitting he mostly drools on his pants or the floor

I had an extremely drooly baby. She had a bib on until all her teeth came out at 21 months.

J was crazy drooly from about 4 months to past a year old. L hasn't ever really drooled (she's 10 months with 4 teeth) - and I often wonder if it's just because she's just a different baby or because she's had an amber necklace on since 3 weeks (she had colic). I've always wondered what would happen if I take it off but I don't have the guts, even though deep down I don't believe in the amber hoopla.
