Just trying to get an idea of how much use a crib really gets given the cost. How long did your LO use his/ her crib as a crib or toddler bed?

She's only 10 months so she is using it as a crib still, then we will turn it into a toddler bed, then it turns into a full size bed. It was only $250 so considering she can use it her whole childhood, it's not too bad!

We bought an expensive one, DD was in it until she was 26 months old and now DS is using it. We will have DS in it until he is two and then give it to LO#3. It can be converted into a toddler bed and then a full size bed, but we have only used it as a crib so far.

@MamaBehr: three LOs, the crib practically paid for itself.

I didn't buy the conversion rails when we got our convertible is when we needed them, they were discontinued!
All in used about 2 years, but only while visiting my parents. Our crib at home was stationery.
