LO still wears a sleep sack because I am not comfortable with blankets yet (she is 6 months), but all of her little friends who are the same age use blankets. I am hoping I can find some larger ones used so I don't have to pay so much for one, and that way we can continue to use one for a while. Everyone I know thinks it's weird she still doesn't use blankets...
How long did you/will you use the sleep sack for?

LO started using the sleep sack at 4 months and she is now almost 20 months and STILL uses them! We are huge fans!

Probably until she is two or in a regular bed? I love sleep sacks!

Also, we use Gro Bag or BabyDeeDee and while they seem pricey, each one we bought lasted 6+months each so I consider them well worth it.

We still use them sometimes (when he wants) - he's 2 years 3 months and sleeps in a bed!

I'm like @Rubies: we LOVE the sleep sack, and I'll keep her in it as long as she'll tolerate it. She is 1 and we're still in the medium sized A&A sleep sack with plenty of room to grow. I'm not in a rush to have blankets in there with her anyway. I've also found they're kind of like a lovey to her, she always sleeps better away from home if I've packed her sleep sack.

charlie stopped wearing them shortly after he turned two and we switched him to a big boy bed. we'll do the same with olive. sleep sacks just make more sense! you don't have to worry about them being cold since they can't kick off blankets!

@Bao: LO still fits in size MEDIUM in the Babydeedee (LO is kind of short). The Grobag, we bought at Winners (which is like the Canadian version of TJMaxx? I think?)

We are still using the sleep sack in cold weather at 18 months! We use the kind with leg holes.

Do you swaddle and use the sleep sack, or just swaddle? I really liked the Halo sleep sack that the hospital gave us, because it had the swaddle arms on it, but it's only newborn size and she's already grown out of it. I have 2 more Halo sleep sacks that are up to 1 yr, but no swaddle arms.

Wagon Jr. is still in a sleep sack. Even though we use a toddler bed sized blanket and pillow. He is a very active sleeper so he often wakes up on top of the covers. We tried to put him to bed without the sleep sack a couple of times but he woke up in the middle of the night and freaked out. He still fits in them so why not! 
He is over 3 years old!!!

We're at 6 months old and still using them. I love them. We know that he'll be warm throughout the night. I plan on using them until we can't anymore. I have 3 fleece mediums and 3 cotton mediums to last him until he outgrows those. I figure I'll have a nice stockpile of them for LO #2.
