i don't eat it, but i make it =D i preheat to 500, then turn it down to 275 before putting the fish in. skin side down brushed with oil & sprinkled with salt & pepper. should be about 10 mins, maybe a lil more if they're thicker pieces.

My favorite way to prepare it is to sear both sides in a pan with some olive oil on the stove for about 2-3 minutes each side on very high heat. Then finish in a 400 degree preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes depending on thickness. It turns out perfectly each time.

20 @ 400 unless its wrapped in foil...then I'll slow it down and do like 30 @ 350 ( juicier!).

I preheat the oven to 450, heat the pan with oil in it, then bake the salmon skin-side-up for 4 or 5 minutes. When the skin peels off easily I remove the skin, add a glaze, and cook for another 3 to 5 minutes.

I broil instead of bake. 8-10 minutes is perfect; gets a little crispy crust on the outside but it tender and rare in the middle.

I bake for 12-14 min at 400 degrees, and then i'll broil for like 2 minutes to crisp the outside.
