Never try to make a happy baby/ toddler happier! I go in when the baby is standing and calling, or if she wakes up and cries, and for my toddler, I go when I hear her calling, or she just comes out of her room when she's ready.

I get bad guilt. Not sure why. I have slowly gotten better about letting DD stay in her crib until she really whines or cries out. Sometimes it can be a long while, other times its just a few mins. This also depends on what time it actually it... meaning if it's 415 am I may try to let it be for longer than I would it if was 530 am

As long as he isn't crying or screaming- he is perfect! He loves chatting away with his stuffed animals in the mornings!

I'd leave her be. Wouldn't make me feel bad at all. I let DD play by herself in her room for over an hour as long as she's happy (checking on her often). I think it's good for children to be able to entertain themselves.

guilty. I used to love lounging in bed when I was younger, and I suppose sometimes even toddlers want to lie in a little before they really wake up.

If he's content I leave him, but that doesn't mean I don't feel guilty about it! lol I just keep reminding myself that if he didn't want to be in there I would know it.

I leave him until he starts looking or calling for me. No guilt!

I leave him as long as he's happy! Sometimes he'll just lay there and talk quietly (sometimes loudly) to himself for up to 45 minutes or so! I generally wait until he's clearly calling or crying.

No guilt here. My girls (12 mo) often play happily in their cribs or yell happily to one another from their cribs and until one starts crying, I enjoy the peace. It doesn't come often so I take it.
