I think my baby has heat rash and I feel so guilty! It was so cold on saturday night and she ketp waking up and her feet and legs were so cold so I pu her in a fleece sleep and play, but i guess that was too hot because two hours later when I went to wake her up, she had a rash all over her belly, neck, back and also on her face and arms. I'm assuming its heat rash. How long before it goes away?

Not sure, I don't think DD has ever had one. I thought she did once but turns out that it was an eczema outbreak. Has she worn fleece before? Maybe she had a reaction to the material?

Wagon Jr. got heat rash a lot. He couldn't wear fleece even in the coldest weather while outside because he'd sweat right through it. We're a warm-blooded people. I don't think it ever lasted too long. Maybe a week at the most? Call your pedi, they will probably tell you to put hydrocortizone or something similar on it. If anything I would bathe and moisturize all over for now. Good luck!!

@Andrea: She has worn a fleece hoodie before but not directly on her skin I guess because she usually wears a onesie under it. You could be right it might be a reaction to the fabric?
@mrs. wagon: Yeah my baby sweats a lot, but has never had a heat rash before. Its quite worrying it. yes I had been giving her baths with cerave body wash. my pediatrician recommends cerave cream for any body rashes so I've been using that for now..
