Say it's an average 300 page book...how long would that take you, if you still had to continue normal life and couldn't just sit and read the entire day?
If I love the book and I'm really sucked in, I can read a book of that length in about 3 days. I read at nap time, and then at night if DH is not home.

A 300 page book that I was really into? Probably 2 sittings, maybe 3. One that I was only so-so about? Probably 4-5 sittings.

Hm. Definitely depends on the length. A 300 page novel could take me a day if I'm into it, or a couple weeks if I'm not. I've read books like game of thrones in less than a week, but that is with some very obsessive dedication!

@Bao: I love them. They are all knights and princesses with a few dragon myths thrown in. I love knights and princess stories though.

These days about a week (used to be 2-3 days). I took a speed reading course in college, otherwise I would have a hard time finishing books with a kiddo around and my odd work hours.

I could read it in 2-3 days. Depending on how busy I am it could take a week.

Though ever since I had kids, it takes me 6 months to a year to finish a book!

I was thinking of this same question earlier. It takes me 2-3 days. I take a bath and read almost every night. On night's I don't take a bath I stay up late to read.

I'm still trying to finish a book I started in the last week of my pregnancy!!! M is 7 months! She doesn't nap and I go to bed early so I don't have much time to read
