How long does it take you to drop off and pick up LO at daycare? I have no idea what to expect.
To make my schedule work I'm hoping you all say negative 5 minutes LO is going for two hours today and then starts full days tomorrow.

Like 5 min in the building. I would allow for 10 by the time from the time I pull in the lot until I leave.

About 5 minutes. It's a small building but I take my time, watch her for a few minutes and talk to the teachers. I have a hard time leaving. I would give yourself 10 minutes.

from the moment i enter the building, about 10 minutes (but i usually use the restroom, which is a looong hallway away from LO's room).

5 minutes in the morning. They know everyone is trying to get off to work. In the afternoons, I usually stay and chat with the teachers for awhile about LO and how she's doing.

I don't handle drop-offs, but I think it's around ~5 minutes to drop-off. Hubs doesn't even take Xander out of his car seat when he gets there. But he does have to fill out a daily form (name, date, when Xander was last fed and changed) and drop off bottles. Otherwise, it's pretty quick I think.
For pick-up, it's a little longer because I have to get Xander settled in his car seat, remind the ladies to get my bottles for me, and I usually have a chat with them about his day. So about 10 minutes for pick-up.

Probably 10 mins in the morning, cause I have to put up her bottles, give R more kisses, talk to the teachers for a bit, then fill out the medicine log for the day.

5-10 minutes with morning and afternoon. I do mornings, so I tell them how he slept and got up in the morning. DH tells me how his day was after the pickup.

10-15 minutes. It depends on your daycare I would imagine. For me since we were usually the first ones in the door they were still turning on lights and setting up so I would get a boppy, put it in a ring, put down baby, add dangle toy, re-stock cubbies (cloth diapers and supplies) and then get all bottles set out for labeling. Then once C was a toddler he went through a phase where he didn't want me to leave so some days I'd stay and read a book or cuddle for a few minutes so he wasn't screaming mad as I walked out the door.

15 min most days. But mine is a screamer so I don't leave till breakfast starts and that is usually 8:15

10-15 minutes. But that's because with twins, I have to take out our stroller, lock in their car seats push it through their double security doors, then take them out of the car seats, unpack all their bottles, etc. I see the other parents with just one infant in and out very quickly compared to me.

Oh good, this is encouraging. I guess I wasn't considering that EVERYONE is trying to get to work so it should be set up to be efficient.

@Corduroy: It depends... when we first started I would leave fast because I didnt want her to get upset if I lingered, but as she got used to the place and I got used to the teachers I would stay and chat sometimes. These days since they know her routine I can be in and out in a matter of minutes but on days where she has a special requirement i stay longer to explain.
