I've been trying for 21 months. We just started seeing a RE. I think we'll be starting IVF soon.

This is month 12 since starting TTC. Month 9 was a M/C, and we had to take month 11 off. Working with an acupuncturist and naturopath to make it happen.

@MrsCastro: It really doesn't matter how long others have been trying when you want a baby sooooo bad. Any amount of time is awful, and I'm so sorry to hear about your loss.

@Mrs. Polish: i guess you are right...thank you for that! sometimes i feel i shouldnt complain...but i guess each one has our own journey that it doesnt make it any less or any more than another persons journey...

@MrsCastro: Absolutely! We're all different and have different paths. I'm not saying I haven't had bitter moments, but knowing where our journey is and had led us, I wouldn't change it. (I NEVER thought I would ever say that!)

I'm not trying yet, but threads like this are a bit scary. I'm such a planner and would love to pick the exact month I got pregnant, but clearly this is not something people can plan. Good luck to all of you!

@Mrs. Polish: I hope I can say that some day.
We've been TTC for 5 months... right after our m/c in September.

@Ash: It took me a long time to get there, and it was really hard to even imagine I would ever feel like this. I am so sorry to hear of your loss.

12 months and in a weird way it kind of easier now. Like I have lost the expectations that this is going to be a quick journey.

It'll be a year February 18th with a m/c from our March cycle. Got pregnant so fast off bc no one realized I have PCOS till my cycles got longer and longer. Am on month 3 of meds, go back to RE at the end of this cycle.

My second IUI right now is our 19th cycle...I don't even know how I'll handle it when I see a positive result. But boy am I ready.
@Leialou: Good luck with IVF. There are so many of us here on HB that will be supporting you and sending you positive thoughts.

@MrsCastro: I just wanted to pipe in on your statement about feeling like you shouldn't complain. I spoke about this on another thread that I started:

Everyone's feelings are totally valid. It's hard, no matter where you're at in the process. I'm so sorry for your loss.

@Leialou: It's 11 months this Feb. Last month we got preliminary physical, my annual, and blood work done with our primary physician. All came back normal and negative of any reason why we wouldn't conceive. Bitter sweet to receive normal results because this means we'd have to see a fertility specialist. However, I'm 4 days late! The latest I've been so far with any of my periods this year. All tests have been negative sadly so I'm going to wait it out. If this doesn't give us a BFP, we're definitely going further.
I know it's such a hard journey especially after every one around you seems to be getting BFP during their honeymoon or right when they weren't planning for it. And here we all are who are seem to be planning for a LO for forever!
Sending prayers and love to all of you TTC!

We're 1 week shy of a year at this point, on cycle number 13.
Hoping it won't be too much longer for us...
