The one I'm looking at is 74" wide x 38" deep x 30" high
Wondering if I should get the extending version:
86" long x 42" wide x 30" high; extends to 122" long

My table is 74x38x30. It seats six and we can put 8 around it if we had too. The extended version wouldn't fit in our dining room.
ETA: are you looking at a table from Pottery Barn?

@chopsuey: Yes! I have the Benchwright in mahogany and checked their site to get the dimensions. I love it so much. We have the bench as well. Three kids can sit on it comfortably.

How big is your dining room?
Ours is going to be 13'4" x 15'4".. -
78w * 40d *30h, we have a leaf to sit 8 total.

@chopsuey: I think it is 13 or 14x12. I'd have to measure to be certain. We have the table, a corner hutch and buffet in there. The larger table would have fit, but I think the proportions would have been off. That's the only reason we went with the fixed version.
