We get 30 minutes unpaid. It's not bad because I usually bring my own lunch. But on days where there are no leftovers, 30minutes is a bit tight to grab food and eat it!

At my job now we have an hour but then we don't end work till 5:30! At my last job it was 30 min but work day ends at 5. non exempt employees can take a full hour they just have to make up the time.

@Mamaof2: Same here. If I can't stay late, I'll make it up later in the week.

@snowjewelz: exactly! I'm 8-430! I much prefer that versus 5, especially with a young one at home who needs to get fed, bathe and put to bed!

@bluestriped bee: @Mamaof2: we also have flex hours but per policy it's 30 minutes. If I longer, yeah I can make it up. but I prefer not to.

@locavore_mama: Yes I totally rather just not really take a lunch and get home earlier! I mean, it's nice now since I can make Target trip, go to the post office, sometimes DH comes and eats with me... But I don't mind giving that up to leave earlier!

We can take an hour, I usually just eat at my desk though. My boss is super flexible and if I want to leave before 5 she always says yes.

30 mins but I "stretch" it. I'm salaried so no time sheet to fill out and I've been around for a LONGGG time, there ARE some perks to being a dinosaur at your job and being good at it My boss kinda lets me do as I please

An hour but i'm salaried and i dont clock in and out. I rarely take my lunch and just work through it so i can leave "on time"

An hour but if I finish early or my patient doesn't show up/cancelled it can range from 1 to 3 hrs unpaid.

I don't know, lol. I'm salaried and I tend to come and go as I please. But with that said, I also tend to eat lunch at my desk and continue working half the time. Or like today, I had a 12:00 meeting and ended up with 10 minutes to eat before my 1:00 .

an hour, unpaid. I wish I could skip it and leave at 4. I'm perfectly happy to eat at my desk quickly!
