LO is nearly 6 weeks old and no birth certificate in sight.

In my state, you have to order it from the dept of vital stats and it says 7-10 business days for processing... It's been over a month so I called to see what the hold up was.

Then I got some run-around about that his birth wouldn't be recorded until 30 business days later and then it'd be 7-10 business days for processing plus 3-5 business days to mail.

Ugh. I hate dealing with the government. So inefficient and completely absurd that it takes 30 business days to even record his birth.
