Like the title says, just interested to see how long others have had to wait for first AF to show following d&c?
I am coming up to 6 weeks with no sign of it coming 
I can't remember now what my OB said, but I'm pretty sure he said expect it to be 4-6 weeks.
I know I should just be patient but it's starting to worry me. I had a missed miscarriage end of July - so I have this silly irrational fear that my body just doesn't know what to do anymore.

yeah the wait is really getting me down! Was not expecting it to be so long. And we've been away on holiday as well, so the time has raced by in between but still no AF!

@Crystal: @Nutella: I'm not the norm though, my cycles just got longer and longer and I was diagnosed with PCOS.

@ladybee: did they suspect you had PCOS before this? I've had it thrown around a bunch by my various drs, but all my tests have come back clear so far

@Crystal: I gor pregnant my first cycle off bc so no one had any idea. That pregnancy was not viable and I had the D&C. After that, they just kept getting longer and longer. So, the short answer would be no because I was on bc.

Five weeks exactly. Three weeks of bleeding, two weeks off then AF.

About 5 weeks (36 days). It was actually the shortest "cycle" I had after going off BC, both before the miscarriage and after. Usually my cycles are around 45 days.

It would have taken me a long 10 weeks. The wait was so brutal, it caused me and DH to reevaluate our plans, and we decided to ntnp instead of waiting a cycle to try again - we felt emotionally ready. I ended up getting pregnant before getting my period, we were shocked! But everything has been healthy so far (currently 28 weeks), thankfully. The wait nearly killed me, I'm not going to lie. I hope yours come soon, as does your rainbow baby

32 days for me. Hang in there! I analyzed what was going on with my body multiple times every day until I got my period.

Mine returned almost exactly 4 weeks post D&C. But my friend just got hers back after waiting 8 weeks Hang in there, I know the waiting game is so hard.

About five weeks, but I don't think i ovulated so I guess it wasn't a real cycle.

@MamaCate: I'm glad I'm not the only one with 3 weeks of bleeding, everyone else seems to stop much sooner.

@Crystal: I think it might be partly to do with how far along you were? Mine was at 12 weeks like yours. I was just starting to think it would never stop when it did!

@Crystal: sorry I missed this...it's really weird but my OB didn't offer a follow up appointment! He just gave me the run down of when to start trying again, and ordered some blood tests to monitor my thyroid levels which were a little high (very slight subclinical hypothyroidism). Just called today to say my levels were normal but to stay on the pills, until I suppose we get lucky with a BFP. He is very laid back in his approach, so I imagine the check up would just have been a little bit of an overkill for a specialist appointment. Sorry for the novel!
How about you? How are you feeling? Do you still get the sad moments? I had one today where I learned a family member is expecting in March with a big oops pregnancy, so I'm happysad about it. Luckily they live far away, but still.

@Crystal: and thank you, trip away to the beach was great! Wine, dinner out and hotel room with trashy TV...it's still 'freezing' cold spring here but the seaside did good things for my spirit...change of scene was vital.

@Nutella: mine had me come in at 2 weeks for a checkup, but it ended up being a brief talking exam. Honestly a waste of time. Today is a follow up physical exam.
I still get sad moments, absolutely. Especially if something takes me by surprise. I'm actually surprised I'm not having them more often. I think I'm getting used to and expecting to be sad the and disappointed, which is awful in its own right.
I'm so glad the change of scenery was so healing! That's great! I'm sorry to hear about your family member, those situations are really tough.

@Nutella: You probably already know this since we're in the same boat, but no AF for me either! I'm temping though and it appeared I Od on CD31, so today is around 10dpo... I'm expecting AF at 6 weeks post-D&C on the dot. Unless of course I don't

@JoJoGirl: it's 6 weeks on the day for me today (day ahead here) & AF has arrived in full force (sorry TMI)! But pretty relieved to finally have it! No warning cramps but I was pretty up & down in moods leading up. Good luck to you, you're probably not far off either!!
